dazzling desert rose aka adenium

Adenium is an evergreen succulent plant ideal for a houseplant. What strikes you is a pot full of twisted gnarled stems with red and pink flowers. It's an owner's delight. It needs full sun but less water, and turns out fab. I'm looking for the deep pink and the red ones now.

  3. Urban Green there are so many varieties now , there is a pink and white stripe, a variegated leaf one and white ones. I go to a nursery that imports all types. When next I go I will take some pics of them.

  9. Hi, I had just visited your wonderful blog. Truly you have a nice collection of plants.

I still have this desert rose but they are very difficult to take care. I marvel at your bloom and the foliage so green.
Good luck in finding the rest of the various colours. Here in my place, Desert Rose are very expensive.

  10. Red Desert Rose is a really lovely colour to have. And yes, it's a sun-loving plant. it's expensive in the nurseries if you choose one that has a gnarled, mature look.
