I'm back from my home town

For those of you who had been wondering where I am, am just back from a holiday. I visited my parents, and it was a walk down memory lane. I've often mentioned that my dad is an avid gardener and this holiday was an occasion to sit with him and learn more.
I'll leave you with a picture of our lemon tree while I settle down and get back to writing more.

  1. Welcome back UG, it's a nice photo. I thought it was a green mango at first glance - I love mangoes.

  5. Hey, welcome back! That must've been lovely, sitting and talking with your parents and learning more from your dad. Somehow we always seem to appreciate our parents even more when we move out from under their wings, isn't it?

  6. @Sunita: Totally. It's so amazing that while we are growing up, we attempt to be different from them. And once we age, we almost become like them. The best part I guess is sharing similar interests and passion of gardening (with dad) and cooking (with Ma). Thanks for visiting me :)

  11. Oh, I love the lemon tree. It reminds me of the song by Jose Feliciano, "Lemon Tree" with the lines "Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet. But the fruit of the poor lemon, is impossible to eat." Truth be told, I love to eat lemons too :-)
