It's blistering in Delhi (it went up to 111F). I wonder how these petunias lasted, but they did pull through. My next couple of posts will be about the burns and bruises in my garden this summer unless luck strikes and I find a rare bloom to beat the heat.
Happy weekend to all!
I am sad to read about the heat taking such a toll...Hopefully it will abate a bit soon!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, so sorry to hear about the heat in Delhi. However do you keep cool(ish)? It must be so difficult to keep a garden there as it would require cooler temperatures and more water so you do a great job!
ReplyDelete@College Gardener & Joyful: Thanks! The temperatures are going to soar right upto July. We hope the rainy season sets in early and brings in some relief...*fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteAnd here in the UK it's cold and wet. Slugs are my problem at the moment but fascinating to see your problems with the heat.
ReplyDeleteI heard from my friends that it's hotter than Chennai in Delhi. Hope your plants survive the heat.
ReplyDeleteSame here in lahore pakistan. Temperature went to 110F when some rains provided some relief. Its pleasure to see some petunias still hanging out there.
